What is skin peels
Chemical peels aim to remove layers of dead skin, stimulate collagen production and increase the rate of skin cell turn over resulting in a firmer, plumper and tighter appearance. Skin peels can improve skin conditions such as enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles, sun-damage, acne, age spots and hyper-pigmentation.
There are a variety of skin peels containing different acids to treat a variety of conditions.
After an initial consultation the right skin peel can be determined and tailored to the individual requirements, which will be discussed at your consultation.
Skin Peels available are:
- ZO Stimulation Peel
- Alumier Peels
- Glycolic Peel
- Easy TCA Peel
- The Perfect Peel
Chemical superficial peels remove excess build up of dead skin cells resulting in a firmer, fresher and tighter appearance. There is very little 'down time' with these peels with very little visible skin peeling, allowing normal activities to continue.
Single one-off Peels available for the benefits of a fresher, brighter appearance or as a course of 4-6 peels for improved results.
Medium Depth Peels
Chemical medium depth Peels are perfect for those who want significant results without the 'down time' of a deep peel. Medium depth peels can significantly improve the signs of ageing, with a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, superficial pigmentation and discolouration, and also acne. These peels can be used on the face, neck, chest and hands.
This highly effective peel can be used as a single 'one-off' treatment, or a course for maximum results.
To be used in conjunction with the individually tailored aftercare cream provided.
Typically with these peels, superficial peeling and redness of the skin can be seen for up to a week post treatment. Sunscreen of SPF 50 will need to be applied for the following 4 weeks post treatment.
Pre-care creams supplied will sometimes need to be administered for a few weeks pre treatment. This will be discussed at the consultation.
